With the Basingstoke warehousing market continuing to reflect limited supply options, the completion of an extensive refurbishment at Unit F, The Loddon Centre in Wade Road, is predicted as being ”timely” by the appointed letting agents, BDT.
The majority of the units within The Loddon Centre development were refurbished and re-let 5 years ago, to include the removal of an overgrown landscape strip across the road frontage to Wade Road, vastly improving the profile of the estate. The newly created investment was then sold to clients of Colliers Capital, who are specialist property investment Fund Managers based in London.
Unit F was vacated by the previous tenant in late 2018, since when Colliers Capital have instigated a complete and thorough refurbishment of the property. This, combined with its stand alone position on the estate and a secure fenced rear compound, will enhance the marketability. BDT will be seeking a rent reflecting £8.50 per sq ft on new lease terms.
