International diagnostics company, BioMerieux UK Ltd are on the move within Basingstoke, relocating their office and associated lab function into 6,500 sq ft within Chineham Gate at Chineham Park. The building is already home to another medical company, Vyaire Ltd, who occupy 25,000 sq ft over the ground floor; indeed Vyaire will become BioMerieux’s immediate landlord.
A new Sublease has been agreed between the parties up until March 2028, at the current passing rent for the building of £21.00 per sq ft. ‘Market incentives’ formed part of negotiations between agents – BDT and Spring 4 representing Vyaire, and GL Hearn advising BioMerieux.
Chineham Gate sits prominently at the entrance to Chineham Park and was comprehensively refurbished in 2016, to provide a striking double height reception, VRF air conditioning, raised floors, suspended ceilings, LED lighting and a B-rated EPC. Externally, there are great branding opportunities and a parking ratio of 1:257 sq ft.
Remaining space options at first floor level continue to be promoted by BDT in their role as Vyaire’s joint letting agent. Size options range between 6,240 sq ft up to a maximum of 16,350 sq ft.
