Industrial and warehouse space available To Let
Hot on the heels of our instruction from Motorola (see News story below), we can also announce further agency disposal instructions on Basingstoke’s premier out of town commercial development, Chineham Park.
Owners of the Park, MEPC, have appointed BDT as joint letting agents alongside Hollis Hockley, in the marketing of the vacant industrial and warehouse units on the Beechwood and Cherrywood phases. Unit 2 Beechwood (8,740 sq ft) and Unit 3 Cherrywood (10,950 sq ft) are pictured below. Unit 3a Beechwood will provide a smaller warehouse of 4,145 sq ft.
Existing tenants will be vacating the units in question, and MEPC will use capital funds to invest in further upgrade works, including the likelihood of re-spraying the profiled roof cladding on the Beechwood units.
Ancillary offices are arranged at the front of each building, at 1st floor level. For any tenants requiring additional office space, this is easily provided in the lower height sections beneath the first floors. MEPC could even undertake such work and rentalise the improvements. The base rent for each of the vacant units is to be £7.50 per sq ft applied to gross internal areas.
Chineham Park has enjoyed continued success and activity in rather difficult market conditions, with a number of transactions reported last year. The Park is well managed by MEPC’s on site asset management team, and the “hands on” service that they provide is of considerable benefit to existing and new occupiers.
