MOTOROLA LOOK TO EXIT REDWOOD 3

We are excited to announce our most recent agency instruction – Motorola Ltd and Johnson Controls are to appoint BDT alongside Jones Lang LaSalle in the marketing of corporate office space on Chineham Park in Basingstoke.

 Redwood 3 (pictured below) is a striking headquarters office building totalling 66,500 sq ft, prominently positioned on the town’s leading business park.  Space options will be available to sub tenants from circa 8,000 or 10,000 sq ft, representing part of the 1st floor of the building.  Alternatively, the 1st floor in its entirety is available – 21,297 sq ft.  The other option would see Motorola relocate entirely if a new occupier can be identified for the 66,460 sq ft facility.

 ”Unique selling points” include the on site restaurant and the fact that the space is offered “fitted and furnished”. The passing rent will be adopted as the quoting rent, that being £16.25 per sq ft.  Parking provision is still to be clarified but is likely to be in the region of 1 space per 235 sq ft net.

 The adjoining building, Redwood 2 (approximately 47,000 sq ft) has very recently been let to Computer 2000, in what was Basingstoke’s largest single office letting for 5 years or so.
